Best Thai Food!. I love their Pad Thai and their Thai Iced Coffee. Haven't found any better in PDX...yet.
Best Curry in Portland. Food is ridiculously good everytime I go there. The portions are large so I always get a meal to take home as well which is very nice. The staff are very nice and friendly, even when they are jam packed from the dinner rush that they always have. They do tend to get busy at times, so I order to go quite a bit, but I get the same great service and food no matter what. The Panang Curry is some of the most authentic I've ever had.…
Great food, always consistent. Pad Thai Kitchen is great in every way. I agree with the reviews of many of the dishes reviewed by others, but there are two dishes that we absolutely crave and go in for. The first is Tofu Larb which is truly unbelievable, and, as far as I can tell, unavailable anywhere else. The Tom Kha soup is the best we've had - we get it with tofu. I have never had a bad meal here, and the owner is indeed terrific. I have suggested to both the WW and the Oregonian that they give this place some press, but no...... Too bad - they deserve the press.…
Best Thai Food in Portland. Pad Thai Kitchen is hands down the best thai food in Portland. From the outside, it looks a little sketchy (and inside is nothing to get excited about either). And the parking lot is so full that you usually end up parking on the street. But the food is INSANELY good, and really affordable (like $7 a main dish). The chicken drunken noodles are my favorite dish! Other great menu items are the pad thai, pumpkin curry, and yellow curry. My boyfriend and I used to try different thai restraunts regularly, but stopped looking after eating at Pad Thai Kitchen. Just go, you won't regret it. (PS -you get like.. what seems like twice as much food when you order to go).…
Nice and comfy Thai place.
Friendly, busy place is doing big business on take-out. The decor is nothing special, but the food is
worth a return trip. I shared the drunken noodles and pumpkin curry. Both were rich in flavor. At medium spicy, the noodles has a nice slow build. Not too oily, not too dry. The service was brisk and attentive.
The kitchen has improved since my last visit a year ago. Now can hold its own with the best Thai in the moderate price range.…
