I've been going here for almost 5 years and after coming back to town last month I found a new idea at the slammer which I love the slammer family for taking part in. Now serving hard alcohol and a fresh idea over music and youth that has brought it back to life this small establishment. I found myself intruiged enough to spend 4 nites to see what was happening in my neighborhood. Monday nite its football tue is TRIVIA nite w/shanrock wed u get 3 tacos 4 $1 thur nothing fri nothing I've been told last friday every month is live local music featurig rooftop shows in the warmer months.

Best Tavern

I have been going to this tavern for years. It is very quaint, and the owner Liz takes great pride in making you feel at home. There are many very friendly "regulars" that will make you want to return.

Great Fun

This place is fun to hang out at after work with your co-workers. Lizzie and Kim are very attentive bartenders. I am not sure if I have ever had to order a beer after the first one. They are always right there when you need one, even when you just walk in the door.

• Cons: atmosphere, no hard alcohol
