its all about the energy. i give this place a 5 star rating on there amazing unique pieces of powerful ethric energy filled jewelry and beautiful work of arts ! but i only get the good energy from the jewelry thats all !!! the people that work there are a bit snobby and are more trendy sales people then peaceful and trustworthy people ...i go there all the time and would like to take my time but when i walk around there wonderful store i feel like the people who work there are watching me all the time and thats rude and judge mental.i will need help and no one will help me but when i am just looking around they ask me if i need help if i say no then they watch me and that makes me want to take my business elsewhere cause i feel like this place in off balance spiritually with the people and still have there mind wrapped around there ego! THIS PLACE IS FOR TOURIST AND I WOULD SAY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THE ENERGY MATCHS THE STONES CAUSE BAD ENERGY AROUND STONES AND QUARTZ DAMAGES THE ENERGY AND THEN YOU WILL AND HAVE TO CLEANSE YOUR STONE SPIRITUALLY!

Best quality for semi precious stones. I buy my jewelry here. They have layaway. I mean, hello- layaway. I have bought one of a kind pieces here. You know that when you buy amber here, it is REAL. They have fixed rings that have gotten bent, they have fixed a clasp, they have ordered what they don't have. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Go. Now.

The Gold Door.... What an incredible store, I love the gold door!

It really tops off a great trip to Hawthorne. Not a lot of places that I'd like to spend a sunday.

It's an eclectic, ultra-unique store that has such amazing stuff. Their furniture is amazing, art is inspiring, gifts are so givable! It's ethnic, it's art, it's really interesting. I especially like the african barber signs, they're so cool!

The people there are knowledgeable friendly and non-pretentious with an edge, all that stuff comes together to make for a great visit everytime you go.

DESIGNER. I was so overwhelming impressed with everything about this store. The employees are friendly funny and sincere. They are very knowledgable and treat you like royalty even if you are not there to buy. They have this most exquisite selection of semi-precious gem and sterling silver jewelry that I have honestly ever seen. Beautiful selection, beautiful store, they also have all sorts of curios from the world over. An enchanting place to visit and a wonderful place to shop.

eclectic selection. The Gold Door offers one of the most interesting collections of art objects, antigues and jewelry. If you are looking for the unusual, this is a great place to find it. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Overall, Even if you are just there to browse, it is a great experience.
