Helpful Staff, Dirty Laundry in the "Sell" Line. I went to Buffalo Exchange to sell. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I went away with an empty clothing box and pocket full of cash. Mission Accomplished!

The one drawback: there was a long line, and the other people in line - a motley looking group - came with bags and bags full of crumpled-up clothing that looked like it hadn't been washed. Most of it went in the donation bin, and I felt like the people with the bags of dirty laundry were really wasting everyone's time. I'll probably go back, but will make sure to have a couple cocktails first.

awesome clothing, bad prices and bad service. i have found some really awesome stuff at buffalo exchange, but the prices are ridiculous for being second-hand used items. i can go elsewhere and find brand new clothing for cheaper. the employees here are rude and give off the persona that they're better than anyone and are quick to judge.

Why pay retail?. I'm a guy and I love shopping. I always come here wishing I had a bit more money to buy what I want. Mostly always a good selection. Most of the staff are friendly and fun to talk to.

For the people who complain about parking, take public transportation. There's no reason to drive in a city anyway.

ok place. Went shopping to Dunedin to cute little shops like Darling Memories,Amanda Austin and Rose Garden. Everyone in these shope were nice and welcoming. I wanted to end my shopping experience with a nice cup of Java.

Whe I walked to Cappucino's Bakery...I saw a couple of customers and once person working behind the counter so I decided to sit and but my bags down. When I sat on the counter...the lady working there didn't aknowledge me but I figure she was alone so I didn't take it personally. Since I really was craving my cup of Java I decided to patiently wait. After taking the order from customers she went to the back and dissapeared for 20 minutes.

At this point I really needed to go to the bathroom. When she came of to serve the people I asked if she can buzz me to the bathroom and she ignored me. I asked again and she SHOUTED at me and I saw a mean lady looking at me. She yelled"don't you see that I'm working alone here...if you need a public bathroom there's one around the corner". I metioned to her that I was a potential customer and I have been patient by waiting 20 minutes and she didn't have to yell at me and send me to a public bathroom. I've had my bags here and that she shouldn't abuse me for no reason.

After that...she yelled at me again and told me that I should leave her shop. SHe mentioned that she was the owne and I was shocked and couldn't believe that she was being so cruel to me for no apparent reason. She basically was taking out her job or personal frustrations on me. I was really shocked and like any women with some integrity I defended my case....and tol her that she was very cruel and bitter and that this is no way to treat a customer who has been patiently waiting. She then did the ultimate...she called the cops so they can escort me for no reason. Since it was so unfair...I figured I would wait and explain my side of the story to the cops...that I was basically waiting 20 minutes for a cup of Java and to use the bathroom and this lady was just cruel with me for no apparent cause...just being abusive towards me from her personal frustrations.

I decided to leaven and not let her ruin the wonderful experience I had with other merchant owners in the area. I saw her as being cruel, catty and bitter and left without take in it personally.

I have travelle all over the world and come from a family of restaurant owners and I ive that the owner of Cappuccino's Bakery a 0 out of 10 rating for cruelty, abuse, and and hateful energy. Have a spirit lady...it's Xmas. She is a lady Scroodge.

If you are visiting Dunedin...stay away if you are happy, attractive and fairly young because this witch will hate on you and give you ill treatment. She represents the haters of the world who hate the happy, sexy, beautiful and cheerful young women. STAY AWAY from the abuse. Oh by the way I saw she did the same to a customer on a Yahoo Travel Review....this MErchant will give Dunedin a bad name.

Not my favorite.... They do have unique clothing here but they definately like hand me downs, especially the shoe selection. I usually have to spend a good amount of time there to find even one item that is worth buying. To make the experience even worse,,,the customer service is terrible. It's also hard to find parking in this area especially on a weekend. Not may favorite place to shop...

Cool clothes, but so so so SO Corporate. You disappoint me.. Awesome selection, in fact one of my fav thrift stores in portland, but you sold out. And why is every staff member a hickdead (think about it if you don't get it at first) ?Thank god there are still goodwill and salvation army stores scattered across town.

Blehh.. I was totally unimpressed with this store.

I went in with high hopes and left irritated.

There were 13 year old girls running around being very obnoxious & the staff wasn't friendly either.

I will never go back & I didn't find anything even the slightest bit cool.

Buffalo Exchange, a face to remember.. The three times I have shopped at Buffalo Exchange have all been at the W. Burnside store, downtown. I had just moved from Eugene to Portland and needed shirts and a pair of jeans. On the third visit, I was approached by a young lady after I had been in the store for about 2 minutes. She looked at me for a second and then asked me "what are you doing here?" By the look on my face she knew I did not understand what she meant so she said "we told you you are not to come back in here." I was surprised and told her that no one had ever said that to me but she insisted they had. I asked when this happened and was told about a year ago. I was not living in Portland a year ago and said so. I tried to ask for the name of the person they 86'd and what they had done but was told it was confidential. The friend with me repeated the fact I was not living in Portland at that time, did nothing to change this scenario and we were told to leave. This is one of the most ignorant, unjustified moments I have been through. She would not even consider taking my name to compare it to whoever she thought I was! I guess she is never wrong. We left upset for being treated in this manner and having no avenue to refute her claims. It's a shame at the very least. I have never been asked to leave any store, restaurant, public place before or since! As a manager myself, I cannot fathom(if I was her) not giving someone the benefit of the doubt by at least looking at ID and checking it against a no tresspassing list, just to be sure. She did claim to be the on-site manager. Since this incedent, friends and I support Red Light Clothing and other resale clothing shops. In this day & age, there is no room for this kind of mismanagement & disregard. I truly hope no one else has it happen to them. Mistaken identity happens all the time but to take it to this level without even trying to determine the truth is a down-right shame. All of us, no matter who we are deserve to be treated better than this.
