I have written a previous review, but I revisited Nomad recently and was amazed at the selection of glassware and other smokers' essentials they now offer, and it seems they are also under new floor management. The store was busier than I had ever seen it, but the young lady who helped me was eager and very present (not to mention very cute), and the level of customer service was what we would call "five star" when I worked as a "secret shopper" for Fred Meyer years ago.

They have basic glassware from under $10, and their suppliers are obviously some of the best glass artists that Portland has to offer, with exotic pieces ranging as high as you want to go if you are inclined to purchase something fancy. Their selection of vaporizers was better, and lower priced, than I have seen anywhere in the northwest, and the clerk was able to intelligently answer every question I asked.

In short, for overall customer satisfaction, they blew away the competition, and the staff actually treated people like they were glad to see them. Very refreshing.

Avoid staff.. They have a great selection, but the owner is a bit of a crackhead....

i didnt have a very good experience the last time i went in so i definitely lost respect for the head shop... other than that they have great price for amasing, unique pieces of glass

Best in Hawthorne. This is my favorite glass shop in the Hawthorne district. They have a great selection and really friendly staff members.
