In Short
With 36 beds and low prices, it's a pretty good bet for any economy-minded traveler. Dorms here are divided into male and female areas; there's one family room as well. Situated in a converted old-Portland-style house, the hostel makes a charming setting for a stay any time of year. A big front porch and pleasant yard add a homey touch, while the proximity of great shopping and eating in the Hawthorne district makes the location convenient as well.
