They make it look so easy.... There is nothing easy about photographing a family with 3 boys (ages 17, 14 & 10). Normally self-conscious and uncomfortable in front of a camera , the boys were a little skeptical about the family photo shoot I had planned. Kim, however, was brilliant at giving direction where needed but ultimately letting the boys just be boys. She captured their individual personalities and the connection they have as brothers. Amazing Photographers!. I was photographed several years ago and had an amazing experience. I do not like to be photographed and am rarely ever happy with a picture of me in it, so I was very nervous about the session. I ended up having a blast during the session and was so happy when I saw the photographs. There were so many that I not just liked, but LOVED. And they were of me! I moved back to Oregon recently and am looking forward to working with them again now that I have a beautiful family. View Less …
Portland's Premier family photographers. For years I have seen photographs taken my Campbell Salgado Studios around Portland. I had always wanted to take my family in for a photo session, and finally scheduled a visit. My family has now been photographed by Kim twice over the past two years. The best thing, besides the beautiful photos she captures, is her ability to put children at ease so that their personalities can shine through on film. She even allowed us to bring our family dog, a boxer, and on our second session, our beloved family cat who had been diagnosed with cancer. The beautiful photos of my children and their pets cover our living room walls and are admired by our friends and family when they visit. I cannot recommend Campbell Salgado highly enough.
