Editorial Review for Electric Castle's Wunderland – by Ethan Machado

In Short
Also known as Avalon Wunderland, Electric Castle's Wunderland has a cartoonish facade reminiscent of a traveling circus. The games run on nickels--most cost four nickels, a few cost seven nickels. That's a bargain, considering the popular games that are available for hours of idle entertainment. It's not all precursory socialization to get ready for playing video poker, however. There are some old favorites like Skee Ball, and families often bring the whole crew in for ice cream sandwiches.

The Avalon is the busiest out of the Electric Castle chain... which should mean better games than the rest, right? Wrong! It seems games that do really well there like Tekken 5, Metal Slug 6, and 321 Smile seem to disappear. I will tell you why these game go away, they are taken to other locales that aren't doing so well in hopes that you will treck across the city to play one game. Not only are a lot of good games disappearing, they are being replaced with the gambliscious ticket games that will never give you enough tickets to get the 5 cent keychain you always wanted. Take your kids to a place that is so crappy! They will thank you!

Pros: Moderate to Great customer service... thats about it.

Cons: lackluster games, not enough "Arcade games", way too many ticket games, trashy customers

The games are pretty old school, but this is a great place to take your kids and not spend a ton of cash. Its fun for adults, too, before a night on the town.

Pros: price

Cons: older games
