Seems like everyone has had a Bar of the Gods phase at some point, or at the very least, a BOG experience. Awesomely divey, it's a good place to go after you've stuffed yourself next door at Apizza Schools, especially on Tequila Tuesdays and Thursdays, when PBR pints are only $1 from 4-10pm.

Bar of the Gods now hosts an open mic comedy night on Sundays. Show up at eight to watch and laugh as Xander Deveaux hosts local comedians deliver the five minutes of material that they've been practicing on their co-workers all week.

User review by porkslider. usually some good eyecandy or random movie on the tube to not pay attention to while you drink the frosty pints of your choice, great happy hour drink special (shot & a beer for $3.50 . . .) & the soups which are pretty hearty and good size fer 3 bucks aint bad neither. Bartenders are friendly sometimes have to spread the friendly around so it may take an extra minute or 2 to get your drink but it's worth it usually a good joke or some other random act of shenanagins. All in all me personally i would recomend the place to a friend or if it was my neighborhood bar i would be happy.

Perfectly Dark. Great place to go, in a group or alone. Lots of friendly patrons. One super HOT, friendly, maybe to smart to be there, door guy. Friendly regulars. Strong drinks, cheap beer, tasty food, and Sake; what more do you need?
