Absolutely You Salon

very disappointed. I also had a bad experience with Don. I have short hair, and wanted to keep the length in the front, and have lots of stacked layers in the back. I left looking like I had a pageboy cut from back in the day - long all the way around... I did ask if he could shorten up the layers - he did, but that caused super short on the top - and long in the back.

the day I left, my highlights looked like they had 3 weeks of grow out.

Hair Color Super Hero. After a hair coloring mishap that had my pre-teen daughter literally in tears and afraid to go to school, owner Karen came to the rescue. She showed a level of empathy and caring that I thought no longer existed in modern business. I had an expectation that my daughters hair situation would go from an unmitigated disaster to merely a mitigated disaster but instead Karen has able to create the look that my daughter wanted from the very beginning. I was extremely impressed by her skill and touched by how much she put into making sure everything was perfect.…

Best value, most comfortable place. I was referred to the salon by a friend and now I have to call her a very good friend. I'm so impressed by the quality of the staff, the relaxed environment, and the great value I get at this salon. At salons I went to before, the staff always made me a bit nervous and I had to pay for new highlights each and every visit. At Absolutely You, I am so comfortable, I get a great style, and I get highlights when I need them.

beautifully remodeled!. I started going to Karen in Vancouver, then followed her to Portland...due to a busy life I thought I would stay local....this was a poor decision...I dealt with poor cuts and color for a few years. One day when looking over photos, I noticed how nice my hair looked...of course it was colored and cut by Karen. I was grateful to find her number and have been back with her for the last two years. She made her dream a reality by becoming a salon owner...she has made it her own. She is grounded, has a beautiful family and is a pleasure to talk with during appts...you will leave her salon knowing you can hold your head up high with a nice cut and/or color with a knowlegeable, efficient, capable stylist.…
