Buying a car at Tonkin Nissan was easy and painless. This was our first new car purchase and the salesman Tony was friendly and he was very knowledgable about the car we wanted to purchase. We were never pressured to sign and they worked with our needs. We feel we paid a good price for the car. They provided us with different payment options and got us an extra rebate even thuough we didnt technically qualify. Great Sales and Service - No Pressure. I arrived and was looking for an Altima. The salesman Hendrix was amazing he showed me various Altimas and thoroughly explained every feature, mechanical, electrical, and safety component. He talked to me about the different trims and the advantages to each. He showed me hybrid's, four cylinders, V6's, and coupes. He let me test drive any one that I wanted. He was never pushy. He simply brought me quotes and various pricing options based on different amounts of money down. I selected the extended warrantee and gap insurance through Nissan so I can take it to any Nissan dealer if there is ever a problem. I finally splurged and went with the loaded sedan, leather, power everything, BOSE audio, etc. They brought down the price quite significantly and contacted my credit union to acquire my loan on the spot. I was able to choose my interest rate and the length of my loan, and since it was with my credit union I new exactly how it would be set up. They even handled all the DMV paperwork. They seemed to care about me as a customer, a person excited about buying a new car, and my vehicle too. The sales manager was friendly and talked to me like a regular person and recognized that I had a specific car in mind and a limited amount of money to spend. Hendrix was the best part about the customer service. When I got the car, Hendrix spent a whole hour showing me how to work each and every function in the car, he was sincerely excited for me. They had it washed and cleaned inside and before I drove it home. This man was so friendly I even stayed after a little bit to talk to him about his new baby and my son, and the joy of having kids. Then we took a picture and video together with the car and I was able to post it to Facebook. I drove down 1 month later to have them put my new plates on. I have been back to have the tires rotated, the oil and filters changed, and all fluids topped off. They were quick and thorough, at a price much better than Jiffy Lube or Oil Can Henry's. Great Service Department. One of the best service departments around always nice and courteous. Up front with all repairs needed won’t sell you any thing you don’t need.
