Fantasic ~~ Claire in coming Friday.
Simply Fantasic, I sure enjpy thelunch specials. The food takes more than 5 minutes, but lessthan 12 minutes to prepare. Seems so fresh. It reminds m of a place my wife, Shelly, worked at called the Moon Garden. Love the great food, service & atmosphere.
I first visited the Swan Garden back in the Spring of 1976 with ny best buddy. At that time there was no Light Rail (YELLOW LINE), just a 4 lane 99W. And no lounge.
The dinner back in 1976 was absolutly fantasic
Looking forward to Friday Evening June 3rd when several friends from the now defunct Cuckoo's Nest will be joining Claire in the lounge for food, drinks, poker, keno, TV, and that always enlightening conversion.
wouldn't go back if they paid me.
lousy "food", not good value $, cheap but could not bring ourselves to eat the food especially after seeing a mouse scoot across the floor so zero value whatsoever.
the people working there seem crazy and emotional, I'm guessing they are grouchy about going out of business.
zero atmosphere.
now I know why the place was empty and why their lot is always barren when we drive by to go to New Season's, which is the only reason we knew they were there, because certainly no one has ever recommended them to us.
there are only 2 good uses for this place, 1. to get rid of a girlfriend you're trying to dump by insulting her with a meal here, and 2. tear it down and put in parking for New Seasons, or a store complimentary to what they carry.
good food cheep food.
I love it here they always bring your food our to you in 15 minuets or less extreamly cheap you can buy a huge full meal for under 6.00 great tasting good clean place.
not a lot of people but everyone loves that.
GREAT PLACE TOO GO.
It's been 6 months..... ....and we're still talking about how HORRIBLE the food was. Everything we ordered was bad. It barely even resembled Chinese food. Just very very bad.
quite for a reason. I ordered to go some Won ton soup and Pork fried rice. the soup had only dumplings in it and they didn't taste well at all the rice was suppose to be Pork I thought. The serivce was nice but unfortunantly the food did not match up.
What A Value. Wow --- one of the few places in Portland where you can have a freshly prepared lunch for under $4.00. The food has always been fresh. Nothing fancy here, just great quality food at reasonable prices. A personal favorite is lunch special #D with sweet and sour on the side.
