The BEST Egg Foo Young and Lo Mein. I used to eat here a couple of years ago before they remodeled. Decided to try it again last week and I've eaten there three times since. The remodel is wonderful. Bright and clean. The new menu is reasonably priced with a few new additions that are very tasty. The food is fresh and the service is wonderful and friendly. I had the beef lo mein first. Beef was tender melt in your mouth good. Then I had the sweet and sour pork spare ribs which was wonderful. Tonight I had the shrimp egg foo young which is made to order and FULL of shrimp. I got three huge patties for less than $9.00 which means dinner, and lunch tomorrow for less than $5.00. The portions are huge, prices reasonable, service friendly and the atmosphere is 100% improved since the remodel. I'll be back again soon!

great service good company. This is the best thing to do on those borning nights when you are bored and lonely. The bartenders are lively with a great sense of humor and on the right nights you'll get a good intellegent conversation too. Good people, very mellow and relaxed atmosphere. The food has to be ordered properly Amie or Daniel would be the ones to ask how to get things the way you want them most of the servers in the resturant don't know how to spell thier own names more less whats on the menu. But if you've already eaten and want to just get a drink and some company this is the spot.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. My husband and I have been eating at Lung Fung's for a couple of years now. But I will never go back now. They have a policy where they charge $1.75 for substitutions. For awhile I was able to do it for free, but now they won't let me anymore. My husband will not eat shrimp, so all I want to do is get pork instead which would actually mean that they would save money. But there "policy" will not allow for that. I had a very heated discussion with the so called "manager/owner who first of all would not let me get a word in edgewise, and absolutely would not budge on this policy even though it would make a long time customer happy, and save themselves some money. When I told her that maybe she should think about changing this policy, she hung up on me. I will never give them another dime of my business.

Delicious Chinese Food!!. I love the food at the Lung Fung Restaurant. Ingredients are fresh and food is always piping hot. They have several dishes that are the best I've had anywhere - the egg flower soup, egg foo young, barbecue pork and sweet and sour chicken are all excellent. But - the real stand out and reason in and of itself to go here are the hand made, to order potstickers!! They are AWESOME. You need to allow a little extra time for them but it's worth it. They've also got a great list of combinations and are willing to substitute for a small additional fee. Service is always friendly!

Worst Chinese Food Ever!!!!. This place is totally disgusting. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to get my order and there was no one else there! The vegetables were mainly canned and the broccoli was wilted. I have been eating chinese food for years and this was the worst. I should have known as I noticed they served "American" food also. There also was a weird smell in there that I couldn't quite place. I would never go there again.

Lung Fung Chinese Restaurant. I thought this place had pretty decent food for it's price bracket. Sure its not a "fine dining" experience, but it was tasty and fresh. The service wasn't bad at all. I actually had to re-read the address to make sure the previous posts where refering to the same restaurant! Maybe I lucked out, but it was great!

Never go here. This place has the worst chinese food I have ever had! I'm not sure why we decided to order because there were several clues that could have prevented us from the digestive trouble that we have now...the help wanted sign that said 'must be reliable', the attitude of the hostess, the listing for a pint of gravy on the menu...oh, how blind we were to the signs! When our food came it looked like a mass of wet grays and browns. It was DISGUSTING!!! We ate a few bites so as not to be impolite, but it was difficult to get down. If you are craving chinese food you are better off going to the mall.

HUGE portions, Best Egg Foo Young in Portland!!!. This place has been here since the beginning of time and though the food has always been outstanding, it was a little like eating in a cave. Since the remodel a year ago the "feel" of this place is totally different. New windows give the space light it never had and the decor is tastefully done. Thank God they didn't change the cooks! Wonderful traditional Chinese food with the freshest ingredients and I have never invited anyone to eat with me here who could actually finish what was on their plate. The prices still seem stuck in the 80's (cheap eats!) - great if you are on a budget (don't tell the management). No better value in N. Portland. Do yourself a favor, order the egg foo young first!

The WORST CHINESE FOOD I've ever eaten!. This food at this place is absolutely disgusting!!! We ordered $30 food and ended leaving after 2 bites.

Go somewhere else!!!
