Not just a place to get an oil change....
I've been going to Express Lube for about a year now, and they have always been professional, courteous, affordable and most importantly, not PUSHY with the upsell. So my husband I said goodbye to
Jiffy Lube and stuck with Express Lube for basic maintenance.
But when I had the timing belt changed on my 2001 Honda Accord, by a mediocre mechanic, and it sounded like a growl instead of the lovely purr I was used to, I brought it in to Jesse and his crew, who within 2 days, identified the problem and fixed it. I had been to the Honda dealer, who would have charged me an arm and a leg to open up the car and adjust the belt. It now runs good as new...
Thank god for people who actually 1) care 2) stand by their word/work 3) have perseverance and patience enough to trust their customers when they say, "it just doesn't sound right."
The last thing I wanted to do was pay a lot of money for a simple fix. I will go back to Express Lube in the future with any mechanical problems, as well as a simple oil change because I trust that they will honestly do the BEST they can to service my vehicle. Seriously, it is such a relief that a local business is actually worthy of my business. Thank You!!…
Auto Mechanic is GREAT!. I'm new to the area and stopped in at Express Lube to check my oil. They said I had a leak and to see the on-site mechanic. I did, he was nice, professional and says he recently took over the shop. He fixed my car in a timely manner and was very affordable. I would recommend Action Auto Service located at Express Lube. I did not actually try express lube but they were the ones who discovered my leak and referred me to the mechanic. All I can say is they helped save my car. Thank you…
Bad Business.
I had used Express Lube a few times with no problems. Then they had a poster advertising new management. It was like a different place. The guy who changed my oil tried to sell me a dozen things I
didn't want. I asked for the cheapest oil change and he gave me special oil without telling me it would cost an extra ten dollars. He tried to convince me to change an air filter I had just replaced. And when we disagreed about how often it should be changed, I said "Really, my dad told me..." and his reply was "Well your dad is UNEDUCATED." !!!
When I saw that my bill was not what I expected I asked the guy and was told to "Be quiet". Not quiet down, but "Be quiet" His exact words were "I'll pay you the difference myself if you'll be quiet and get out of here."
My last comment is that they started sending me tons of offers in the mail using my billing information. I don't appreciate this considering I didn't sign up for it and of course I will never go there again.…
