Terribly Inefficient. They waste fuel by moving single tractor loads of dirt to and from a job site .6 miles each way, in a residential area, disrupting traffic flow. They create unnecessary noise, kick up huge dust clouds and interrupt the lives of many residents. For details, see stop moving the earth dot org
