Easy to get into and out of. Airy, artsty and bright. Love stopping into Powell's Books to pick up a new read and on you're way back to town stop into Powell's again to sell it back!

Simply put, the best airport in America. Prices at shops and restaurants are the same as other places around town, most are locally-owned, and pick-up and drop-off are a dream.
Editorial Review by Lesley Balla. PDX is light, bright and has facilities such as a conference center, meeting rooms and computer ports.
PDX - Fantastic airport. PDX was designed with the traveler in mind. Easy parking, quick check-in, almost no waiting time thru security. I have traveled out of PDX 6 or more times and have not waitied at security for more than 5 min. Hooray they got it right! Shops and dinning are excellent. Sushi bar hits the spot.
Best airport ever..
After the years of remodeling, PDX is finally a place to be proud of. It's easy to navigate, easy to get to and from, and there is plenty to keep you occupied while you're here (good food, not the typical airport crap).
The only drawback would be connecting between flights on the opposite side of the terminal, because there is no secure passageway (you have to leave and re-enter security). But since Portland isn't a hub, this is the exception.
One to write home about. I love the Portland airport! I arrive extra early for departing flights so I can leisurely shop in my favorite stores - Pendleton for awesome blankets and last minute gifts, Made in Oregon for souvenirs and wine, and the Nike to buy authentic Nike gear in its home town without sales tax! The women's bathrooms are always soooo clean; for some reason east coast women pee on the seats and PDX always has toilet seat covers just in case you need one. What a view the airport has, too, with all of the glass.
best airport ever. PDX is the best airport ever. Don't ask me why but its just that I love it. Its a supernatural thing.
Makes traveling more pleasant. PDX really is a nice airport, and the construction finally seems to be winding down. The new glass roof over the drop-off area is great, and all the restaurants and shops are a lifesaver when you have to be there two hours early. Terminals are clean, airy and bright, and security seems to have it pretty well handled. Since 9/11 I haven't had to stand in line for more than about 10 minutes.
