yuushuu restaurant

Granted I have only had the sushi at Rose City Cafe, but man does it keep me coming back. I pay the extra cost to park at an airport just to get the sushi here. The sushi chef makes an excellent dragon roll. The atmosphere is cozy and not sterile, like you would expect an airport to be. Price fits perfectly. I highly recommend to anyone going through PDX to stop and get some sushi
- Pros: Dragon Roll
- Cons: In an airport
Amazing!!!

While some may consider Security restrictions frustrating and inconveinent, I am thankful for them. If I was not able to go to the gate to meet my friend flying in, I would have never decided to wait for the delayed flight inside the Rose City Cafe. Though they were very busy, I was greeted by a very nice gal who was all smiles. She took me to a table where I was out of the traffic flow and things only got better from there! My server was attentive, the food was fresh and hot, the wine suggestions - perfect. I struck up a conversation with a gentleman next to me and he informed me he is a regular. In an airport? Something this operation should be proud of. I will be back!
- Pros: menu variety, attentive staff, wonderful sushi
- Cons: in airport, in airport, in airport
I didn't expect this!

My wife and I were waiting for our flight at the PDX airport when we decided to have some dinner at the Rose City Cafe. I had no idea the airport had a full service restaurant with such an extensive menu. Even though they had a full American style menu availabel we ended up sitting at the Sushi bar. The service and the sushi was great. Chef Blaise put on quite a show for everyone to witness. He is not only and excellent Sushi Chef, but he is a talented entertainer as well. We definitely will be returning with friends very soon.
- Pros: Nice menu selection, quick service, Easy access
- Cons: In an airport, small bathrooms, Still in an airport
