First of all, This place is not horrible. However it is really in need of an update. We go here quite often for breakfast. The food is the usual "diner" style and the staff is pretty good. Never a wait. Sometimes the tables are dirty and the booth seats sticky. It really needs a deep clean and minor update. I say minor because I kind of like the 60s/70s feel.…
Great Food, Fantastic Wait Staff. My wife and I operated a business in the area for four years. We would go there for lunch and breakfast at least 2 to 3 times a week. We haven't been there for 2 years since the business closed and we live in Salem. We returned on March 9th and the wait staff remembered us and what we liked to eat. Great to see them anmd enjoyed the breakfast. During our time with the business we took quite a few of our employees ther and we all enjoyed it. Well woth your time eventho it is a 70's style.…
A good breakfast in a 1970's diner atmosphere. Our usual place was closed and I never gave this place a second glance because it looked like a dive from the outside. The atmosphere is tacky 1970's but everything is in good condition. I had to make eye contact to get service but they would come over immediately. Once I realized eye contact is needed, I took it as they aren't rushing anyone to get through the meal. I was surprised to realized that the entire staff is white and seems to be over 60. The food came within a few minutes from the order. The food is basic but it tasted good, and we agree with the other review that they undercook the hashbrowns and next time will order them 'crispy'. The best thing is that it wasn't crowded at 10am on a Sunday morning. We will be going back and will take the kid with us (it is 'family friendly').…
Disgusting Diner atmosphere. The service here is absolutely terrible everytime. Its always one of several grumpy blown out leather-face waitresses slinging undercooked hashbrowns and recycled coffee. The owner and his wife scare the daylights out of me and the lack of teeth point to meth. In a moment of desperation, you can find slimy diner food here, slightly overpriced for the quality, bland as all getout and ready to clog your arteries. Stick to the basics and don't bring anyone here if you like them. Oh yeah, and on the weekends, its a zoo of old people and overweight American bottomfeeders.…
Good food, good price, great place to hang out on sat/sun morning..
I disagree with the previous post. The food is good, not tasteless. The staff is the best around. If you're in 'regular' status with this establishment, which doesn't take much then you'll get
the best service in town.
The food is 4x times better than any Denny's or Elmer's. Stick to the classics or the special and you won't be disappointed. biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict or a *.scramble. Great breakfast. never pressured to leave. Great hangover atmosphere :)
Decent food at a reasonable price. Go here if you want a chillax atmosphere while recoop'ing on the weekend.…
