How to lose a customer- Ignore them, even when they want to buy something.
NW Wools has a nice selection of yarn, but I don't shop there anymore.
On several occasions, I've stopped by to pick up some yarn only to be completely ignored by the staff there.
Last time I was there, I had waited at the counter for 10 minutes without anyone waiting on me (too busy putting up yarn), when one of the customer service people let her friend, who had just come in, cut in ahead of me to purchase her yarn. They acted as if I didn't exist, except to say, "Excuse me," when the friend cut ahead. It was absolutely ridiculous.
Unfortunately, this is the yarn store that is closest to my house. It's about a mile away. I'd love to frequent it, but I can't, because their customer service is just so bad.
