Joined Suns Up yesterday. Mary was very helpful and friendly. Signed up for the monthly tanning option for $21.88/month. $50 membership fee, but they gave me a full sized lotion so I didn't mind paying the fee :)

I have always been a little afraid of indoor tanning, but i had a vacation and a birthday i needed to prepare for middle of winter so i popped into a Sunsup by my work (wilsonville) i felt little to no pressure to sign up and i couldn't believe how inexpensive the membership was!! and i didn't have to sign any kind of contract which i loved.

The staff seems really well educated about skin safety and proper skin care to avoid over exposure. I've been a member almost a year now and i don't think i'd go anywhere else! (Customer # 63397)

I went to Suns Up Tanning as a referral from a co-worker. I was very impressed with the facility, the prices are reasonable, and Mary, the gal who helped me in Wilsonville was AWESOME!

If I could I would give no stars.. If I could I would give no stars. Horribly uninformed and pushy staff. I didn't go in there once where they didn't try to pressure me to buy some lotion or some other overly priced product. When my wife tried to cancel our memberships (because she is pregnant and we hadn't used it in 2 months) the staff tried three different times to convince her it was a good idea to tan while pregnant. My wife finally had to tell the person that the suggestion makes her uncomfortable and please stop asking.

The reason why these guys get high rating is that they give store credits if you go on and give them a good rating.

Suns up offers multiple package levels and membership start-up fees are lower than most places i've tanned before. I am on a tight budget and like to tan before my birthday each year- the basic package has prooved to be worthy if that's all you can afford. Normally I try to purchase higher end packages because of course, you tan better, but every package here, even the basic ones, are sure to please. I enjoy the friendly staff and rate suns up as one of the best tanning centers i've been to! Customer id: 69015

Suns Up Tanning allows for a 'weekend only' package--a unique, great deal for those who cannot tan during the week due to a busy work schedule! Their staff (at the Happy Valley location) is very friendly, and their beds are always effective (no old bulbs here). Customer #68126

Reveling the reality of Suns Up tanning, from an inside perspective.

I have worked for Suns Up, and I want truth to be told about this establishment, so all potential customers know what is going on behind the scenes, to make an educated decision to tan here, or not. Suns Up is a wonderful place to get a tan. The beds there do their job, and will get you tan, but at a high price. Employees are treated unfairly, with no breaks permitted, constant change in scheduling, commuting with no offer to be compensated for gas, and un-godly high pressure working situations. To tan here, you will be constantly be pressured to buy lotions and upgrade beds. This is not relaxing for the tanners that enter, and not fair. You as a paying customer should be able to relax with no worry of people shoving lotion down your throat. BUT this pressure comes STRAIGHT from the owners themselves. There is a constant fear going into work there everyday, that if we (as an employee) do not sell enough lotions or upgrade beds, this will result in automatic termination.

All this to say, if you are feeling burdened down by high pressure and prices, please know, the employees are struggling as well. Don't become attached to your favorite employees, cause sadly the turnover rate is high, and it's the company's own doing.

Please be weary, and hopefully this information will help you make an educated choice on where you spend your money.

tanning bed prices, quality of beds, and friendly staff are such a big attribute to EVERY tanning salon. Suns Up is my first and ONLY choice for anyone!! Best tan you'll ever get.
