The best of the best!. Columbia Academy's motto is "Work hard - Play hard" and they do! Their dynamic teachers provide each child with an individualized learning program and foster a strong sense of values. Too, they strive to help each child meet the President's Physical Fitness Standards, engage in most team sports and enjoy having fun together. I can't say enough about their great teachers and I can't think of a richer learning environment.

happy all round. We are new Columbia Academy parents and we are very happy with the school and believe we made the best choice for our child. We chose to send our 4 year old to Columbia Academy for a number of reasons. The first and foremost was that they allow the children to move along at their own pace, focusing on levels of comprehension rather than sticking to a fixed timetable for academic progress. This together with the small class sizes and commitment to learning is giving my child a great start. We have already seen great strides in his reading and his confidence.

Also, it is not by chance that we have had such a smooth transition to the school. Right from the start my son was made to feel welcome and comfortable in his new classroom and he loves the hands on learning that he gets to experience. Getting up and going to school is no longer hardwork and has become a favorite part of the day.

The Best. There is not much more to say then there is no better school than this. The teachers care and all of the kids are fantastic. All three of our children love this school. It is an extension of our family and we love everything about it.

Great School!. Thank you to the staff at Columbia Academy for a job well done with my son. His success both in reading and math has been a source of confidence and pride for him. The individualized curriculum has allowed him to work ahead so that he is a full grade ahead in math. I am often amazed at the quality of the projects that the children complete; my son was published in a student anthology as part of one of the school projects. He has also developed an amazing ability to work towards targets and keep personal discipline in on reaching his goals.

The teachers are top notch. Their level of communication and understanding of ethics has created a safe and happy environment for the children to prosper. They have also been very understanding, supportive and helpful when special needs arise.

Amazing. I must tell you that my experience with Columbia Academy has been that of sheer joy. My son Mike is almost 11 years old. He loves going to school and is a year ahead of his public school peers. The teachers are devoted and real. They actually care about the students. Each child is given a tailor made program and are able to move as quickly as they can. No holding back because the rest of the group needs to go slower. No pushing something on the student they don't understand. I guess if I had to sum up what Columbia Academy does, I would say it instills a love of learning a confidence that anything can be learned and the true understanding of the materials at hand. I wish to thank Columbia for creating such a remarkable school.

I wish I had gotten this kind of education!. I'm constantly amazed at the progress my son has made at Columbia over the last several years. Great staff, excellent curriculum, small class size and a positive learning environment makes Columbia the perfect choice. I would recommend this school to anyone that truly wants to give their childred a top notch education. How many schools do you know of where the kids actually want to go to shool?

a great place. My son's public school teachers thought he had ADHD and could not keep him engaged. He just needed to be challenged and move ahead at his own pace! The individualized program at Columbia is perfect for him. He is excelling in every subject, he is way ahead in math and reading, and he actually LIKES school!
