A gambler's paradise near the runways.. The Scene
Portland is home to its own dog track and racetrack, but it's impossible to be at both at the same time. That's why many show up here. You'll find both locals and out-of-town guests hunkered down in the Off Track Betting room. This is the place for wagering on dogs and ponies that are racing on tracks across the country.

The Details
While you're likely to find a colorful collection of gamblers staying here, regular folk check in, as well. The heated outdoor pool is often full of kids in the summer. This chain offers a comforting consistency that is not unlike fast food, and this particular HoJo is well-kept and in good repair. There is an on-site restaurant and 24-hour shuttle service to the nearby airport. The indoor Jacuzzi is a comfortable place to unwind after placing that last bet.
