Three family members in a bed is too many.
My daughters and I were excited for a get away from home, but disappointed when there was only one bed in the room for all three of us. We did book the hotel through Hotwire, but I clearly specified that it would be one adult and two children. The front desk was no help and I was told my only option was to pay $15 for a rollaway bed. Two evenings with a 10 year old, a 6 year old, and a grown woman in one bed may seem more like an ordeal than a vacation.
That said, when the phone in the room wasn't working a very nice man came to fix it immediately (and showed more sympathy for our bed situation than the front desk). Still, I won't be recommending this hotel anymore to our friends and family who visit us in Portland. Warning: expect to be treated as a third-class citizen if you book at a discounted rate.
I should have slept under a bridge. Recently I was stuck in the Portland airport on a canceled flight, the sheridan was the closest hotel for me so i decided to spend the night there. The front desk person was by far the most unfriendly person I've ever met. I asked for a discounted room since I figured they had some available and it was close to midnight. But she said no, and I turned around and walked away. After about 5 feet she agreed to give me a discounted room. But I should have left! My room was dirty and none of the toiletries were stocked. I did not have soap or shampoo. When I lifted the comforter there was a white substance on the blanket. I asked to be switched rooms, but I was denied. I got clean sheets an hour later. To make things worse they forgot to give me a wake up call in the morning. I should have slept in the airport
Sherayon Airport was Awesome !. This hotel I guess just was renovated because its beautiful. The Sheraton Sleeper bed was phenomenal. What makes this hotel superior to other full-service hotels in Portland is the great custoner service. Every employee I encountered in my ten day stay knew how to please any guests needs. I was so impressed. The Columbia Bar and Grill Resturant was amazing. Great service each time. Rocky the bartender was awesome. I also bought some great things to bring home at the hotels own boutique. I will only stay at this property when in PDX. Right at the aiport, but downtown was 15 minutes. I even used the MAX light rail to get all over the Portland area, This hotel looks brand new. The colors are so inviting ! Stay here !
Comfortable hotel for hard-working business travelers and leisure guests looking to relax..
