Terrible Customer Service. First of all the 82nd and holgate AARONS has terrible customer service. Even though they know your pay dates they want to call and harass you. You tell them ahead of time to document your account that your gonna be late because you get paid on certain days of the month. (I.e. 5 and 20 month). They want to call and say "Hey, whats going on??? how come you haven't made a payment yet, you are 1 day late. Hello!!!!!! I told you weeks ago I get paid on this date and thats when I'll call to make a payment. They say its unacceptable, well guess what??? come pick it then!!! and then they wana bs and be like your almost finish with your contract bla bla bla and it'll look good on your credit. Guess what?? It ain't worth it. I give them a zero, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!. They had different employees call each time when I have spoken with other employees to document my account. They know your gonna call and pay but they want to be an ass. That's why no one wants to do business with ya!! and to think the radio station was hyping this place up. Boo!!!!!, Don't go to aarons. They will harass you until you want to lose their business and when you are willing to risk it, they want to convince you to stay. It's Job Security because they got nothing better to do. I can totally see AARON's Failing in the future. Shout out to the guys that called harassing me, Jeff, Brandon, Gabe and their manager for making them call. AARONS is terrible!!! and that guy for AARONS defense is terrible too!..

Good Service, Friendly staff and understanding.. I have read some of the other reviews and I have to agree, if you call them and let them know when you will be in they are more than happy to extend the extra time. I NEVER had an issue and I was even 2 weeks late at one point! They just thanked me for calling and promising to come in to pay. Then when I returned some end tables after I decided I didnt like them, I got an instore credit for $456 that I paid so far!!! to rent another item! No other store will let you do that!

For all those people that are getting online and complaining about Aarons managers calling when you're one day late and threatening to take your sofa or TV when you're 18 days late! HELLO!!!! First of all, did you pay attention to the manager when he/she closed the agreement with you?
Do you remember your agreement, you know, the one where you promised to pay on the 1st or the 15th? Do you remember him/her saying that if you're going to be late on a payment, call the store and let them know when you're going to be in with the payment so they won't call and bother you? Do you not realize that communication is key in ANY situation and as long as you stay in communication, you won't have these problems!!! Of course, you also have to be HONEST!!!!
So to the person that is crying about an Aarons manager calling when they're one day late... why didn't you call and say "I'll be in tomorrow!" on the day you were actually due?? And to the one who thinks it's so unheard of that the manager would say he/she's going to pick up the merchandise when you're 18 days late... OMG are you serious? YOU DIDN"T PAY!!!! YOU"RE OVER 2 WEEKS LATE!!! What do you think, you get to pay when you please? NO! You pay when you're supposed to, or you call and say you'll pay on Friday when you get your paycheck, or here's an idea... DON'T LEASE SOMETHING YOU CAN'T AFFORD!!!!! If you can afford it but something happens (lose your job, etc.).. then you have a make a choice, what's more important, your 55" flat screen TV or FOOD? Return it!
Now granted, not all Aarons are wonderful I'm sure. My store is in Texas and we have our complaints, of course they are 98% of the time, from people who DON'T PAY or who are always trying to get SOMETHING for NOTHING!!!! So by all means, go to Rooms to Go or some other store if you're still whining about Aarons, you won't get a better deal and they'll have to deal with your NON paying rear ends.

Rude employees and Harrassment type collections.
I would not going through the Aarons on Divison (around 162nd) in Portland. I was desperate for washer and dryer. So that is the route I had to go. For 18 months, if I was 1 day late it was one harrassing phone call (most of them from Adam) after another. It didn't matter if I caught up my payment, even up to the very last payment if I was one day late it was phone call after phone call threatening to come and get my washer and dryer.
We also got a couch from there, after about a month I decided I hated it (stained microfiber that I was told was easy to clean) they did everything they could to make us keep it, if I wasn't so stubborn would probably still have the darn ugly couch.
No more will I EVER go to Aarons. IF I ever have to do that type of purchase (paying 4 times more than the USED product is worth) I will go to their competitor.
Aarons on Lombard and Interstate. DON'T EVEN TRY GOING THERE IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. RICK THE MGR WILL THREATEN TO TAKE YOUR MERCHANDISE IF YOUR 18 DAYS LATE. THEY WILL KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR, THEY WILL COME TO YOUR WORK TRYING TO GET A PAYMENT AND THEY WILL CALL AND HARASS YOU AT WORK. I WAS ALMOST HALF WAY PAID AND THEY TOOK MY MERCHANDISE AND TOLD ME THEY WOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE IF I DID NOT LET THEM TAKE IT. SO I CALLED AN ATTORNEY AND TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK OR SOME OF IT. DO GO THERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING HARASSED IF YOUR ONE DAY LATE!!!!!!!! O YEA IF YOU TELL HIM YOU DONT WANT TO RETURN IT THEY WILL TELL YOU YOUR GOING AGAINST THE LAW!!! THEY SOLE ME USED COUCHES AND STAINS SHOWED UP IN THE SWEDE LEATHER WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT???DONT EVEN THINK TWICE, i SUGGEST GOING TO RENT A CENTER. PLEASE LISTEN AND TELL OTHERS....THANKS
Aarons furniture on Sandy, worst service!!. If your going to go to Aarons, I would not recommend this particular location. We drove there because the website said that was the #1 location on Portland, and we wanted to see the biggest selection. We ordered furniture and they did not call when they said they would to confirm a delivery day. Then when we got a del. day they did not come that day and I missed out on work. They said we would be the first the next day, and then around noon when I was expecting them to be knocking on the door with furniture they call to say they don't deliver to our area!! At this point I have lost a lot of money from not working and waiting for them! After many phone calls I convince the RUDEST MANAGER to deliver it anyway since it was there stupid mistake. We get the furniture later that day and they deliver THE WRONG END TABLES!! We still don't have this resolved and have had to do all the work of calling them. IN CONCLUSION, DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU WANT RUDE SERVICE AND IGNORANT SALES PEOPLE!!
