wow what to say...Bad meat not good not rare...bread had a oily taste...not worth the money ...hostess nice..
Never Going Back. We went there for an early dinner and had a gift certificate for $25 given to us by one of our kids. We were greeted pleasantly. We presented the certificate to our waitress and she said we were required to spend at least $35 in order to use the certificate. There weren't a many choices in order for us to spend that amount. In order to do that, we both ordered the steak dinners. Husband had filet mignon which he said was good. I ordered the New York steak and it was overdone and didn't even taste like beef. It had a strange texture and a strange taste. The mashed potatoes were real, but the gravy was dark, dark brown and didn't taste homemade. Both dinners were served with a piece of toast. The salads didn't seem real fresh either. Overall, we were very disappointed. I took more than half my steak home and fed it to the dogs. We won't be going back.
Worst Restaurant Ever.
We walked in the door and were promptly insulted by the waitress wearing a t-shirt that read "Beer drinkers get more head" and it went south from there. The help was cold, unwelcoming, and surly. The food was overpriced, bland, and greasy - completely inedible. When the cook walked by to park herself at the bar it smelled as if she had bathed in cheap perfume. The white toast with margarine and the watered down mashed potato with poor quality canned gravy were the low point, but it was undoubtedly the worst meal ever.
Worse than Tosis, worse than The Original Taco House, worse than anywhere I've ever eaten in my life. I wouldn't feed it to a dog.
Oh yeah, and it was over $30.
Tough Tasteless Steak. Went to Bill's 3 times. First time we had good burgers, big and tasty. Second time we went early evening and sat in the bar for a beer, planning to order food for take-out. The bartender was pleasant, we were served our beers. Then a waitress or hostess from the restaurant side came over and loaded up the juke box with urban bass ridden music and it was played extremely loud. We watched as paying customers finished their drinks and left. We left without ordering food. The third time we went back during lunch and sat on the restaurant side. I ordered the steak sandwich special. The steak was small, cooked on a flat grill, tough, overcooked and tasteless. It was not a sandwich, came with one piece of toast that squirted margarine flavor when you bit into it. The mashed potatoes were watery and drowned in dark brown fake-tasting gravy. Won't be back again.
Editorial Review. Country fun and finger-lickin' barbequed and grilled meats crowd locals in this fun-filled dining spot.
