I'm a burrito EXPERT!

My mom worked at the Taco House when I was a baby and I have been brought up on their food. I am now 21 and still enjoy coming to this place on an at least bi-weekly basis. I love their food and service. I am always excited to bike over and have a bite. :)

• Pros: Food, parking, service.
• Cons: I hate the people who own the restaurant chain. They are some of the sleeziest lowest of the low people in Portland, despite what you have heard and might've read in the Oregonian.

Don't eat the beans...

My boyfriend and I, along with my niece ordered two entree to share. I forgot what we ordered, but it was enough for two adults and a three year old. The service was nice, but was not superb. As for the food, my boyfriend I expected more for our money.

Anyways, the food was average and we will continue to explore for more Mexican restaurant.

worst dining experience

My wife went to this restaurant for dinner last night. We have been going here off and on for years, and had met there for our first date about 10 years ago. We were seated in an area with a lot of children. They were so loud that we could not even hold a conversation across our table. The quality of the food has gone down over the years. My wife ordered the tostada grande. It had way too many refried beans, as did my big chicken burrito. The service was just okay. We were never offered refills on our soda or iced tea. The next time we want mexican food, we will go to a place that is more quiet.
