We like to stop at Big Red's when we visit the zoo or if we are shopping in Portland. They atmosphere is nice and the food is good. I prefer the Mexican food when I go there,

The convenient location, enroute from downtown toward Washington County, draws the weary folks in for a drink after a day's work. The food is ordinary and so is the atmosphere.

My wife and I enjoy the slightly kitschy Tex-Mex decor - often joking about our meal being eyed by an overhead varmint. But the reasons we go are the quesadillas, the puerco burger, and the hush puppies.
