Good food..
I've eaten here several times with family and friends. I'm very picky when it comes to Sushi and Sashimi. This restaurant is very good. I have only had one problem and that was one time. The food took forever to be made. I think they forgot about us. Only happened one time.
Otherwise the food is great the portions are also good for the price. It's a bit of a hole in the wall but it's still comfortable and friendly. My daughter and I are on our way there here in a few minutes.
Fantastic Food.. We love this place. We all at the office eat there at least twice a week. The food is very fresh and the people are very friendly.Great California rolls=the best I have ever had. You get a lot to eat for the money.
Never got to taste the food. I was in this restaurant today for the first time. I came in and sat down, the waitress was serving two men across the room. She then took orders from a family that was seated when I came in. I thought she would come and take a drink order or bring me some water after that but she boxed some to go orders and re filled drinks for the men across the room and took drinks to the family. Then she went and did a couple of other things. My daughter came in and sat down. (I had been there about ten minutes by then) Two more women came in and then a man. During this time the owner's daughter came in late for work and there was a short argument (girl in English and parents in Japanese) The waitress (mother) then did something near the counter and came out to take the man's order at the table next to us. At that point we left. It may be a Japanese restaurant but this isn't Japan. I can't remember being so pointedly ignored in an almost empty restaurant.
Excellent sushi and a great price! Nice people too.... I have had Sushi at every Japanese restaurant in Portland and I must say that this is right up there especially for a mall restaurant
Excellent Sushi, Nice People. It's just a little hole in the wall place. A tiny shop space in a strip mall (next to Baskin Robbins), but the sushi is fresh and good and the people are very friendly and nice. My wife likes the Las Vegas roles, I go for the regular sushi (a sampler plate) and our daughter likes the california roles. A great value.
Superb. Very nice people. Excellent food every time,.
First time I rated a place--they are very good--always excellent. And I know this kine food from Hawai'i.
It is ALWAYS good --sometimes broke da mouth good. We live close by so I have tried a lot of the menu.
Yakisoba is killer good--Bento is dynamite--love the Cali Rolls. Super value for the quality--never a next day bite back. One of my favorites with Thien Hong... can't miss here. Usually once a week for us.
Grade F. Very disappointing. The sushi did not seem fresh. The ranch dressing was watered down. The bento box was more rice and tempura than anything else. Will not go back.
Excellent service, excellent food. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!! This is the best service I have had in a long time and it is consistant as I have been about 10 times in the past few months and I am always impressed. Sometimes it does take a little while for the sushi but it is well worth it! The presentation is always great and the portions are good sized and always fresh. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The bento box lunch is a great deal and the salmon is fantastic. It is the only restaurant where you are greeted by every employee as you come in and as you get up to leave.
