With a reputation for age and venerability, Waverly sits near the Sellwood bridge, along the Willamette River. The course is notably difficult for women, but is a good deal easier to score on for men. There has been no remodeling on the course itself, which features some gorgeous trees. The greens are fast and small, and the waiting list is long. At 605 yards, the 8th is the toughest hole with its huge trees, and fairway bunkers.
