Both good and bad. Excellent floor staff. Pretty good pies, soups and other prepared in advance food items. However, be advised. The prepared to order items are a crap shoot. Not particularly surprising given the kitchen staff (check out the breakfast cook that wears blade style sunglasses indoors). After my third awful breakfast in a row; I swore off the place.

We LOVE Bannings! Let me say that I have NEVER had better soup anywhere. Yesterday it was Cream of Spinach..amazing! Their Cream of Mushroom is my favorite and unfortunately, it's not always on the menu. And their Patty Melt is a must try. Please keep current on your so postings as we check this page daily to see what soup you're serving! The servers are all great too. Shout out to "Q" and "Jack"!

We had a great experience here. The
staff was friendly. Service was good. The corn beef hash was excellent.
The pie's were excellent. We love being able to order breakfast anytime of the day.

Love the photos, very tasty :P Now you need a pic of the mile high chocolate cake and my fav san, the Monte Cristo! Don't know anywhere else around I can get that, so every time I come there I gotta have it, lol ;)

I was just in Portland visiting a
friend and we visited Bannings a good bit,
since my friend lived down the street from y'all. First, Andy is a great asset
to the Banning's staff and I would come back just for his service. Second, the
chicken apple sausage was best thing ever tasted.
I wanted to know if there is any way I could know where I could order it and
have it shipped to me. I am in South Carolina and like I said, best sausage
I've eaten.
