TERRIBLE. The food is canned and the microwave is one of the most used thing in the kitchen. I can not tell you how dissapointed I was. My 8 year old wouldn't even finish his chicken strips! I would not serve this food and charge for it. Its more like school cafeteria food. If that's your thing, this place is for you.

If Mom's Not Home, Eat At Davidson's!. Consistently excellent food and service, no matter what time of day I have been there over the past 20 years! Greg White also owns Tom's Pancake House in Beaverton and I think the food and service at Davidson's has always been better than at Tom's. The Mexican food is the best in town as are the breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and oh the soups! GREAT soups! I always recommend Davidson's to anyone looking for great food and great service in Tigard. This is Home Cooking at its finest. Thanks Davidson's from Kittylover!

Not impressed at all. Just had breakfast there and the service was NOT GOOD. One of the waitresses had to go and get my waitress to take my order. The food was just okay. I had biscuits, gravy and scrambled eggs and the only thing that was good was the biscuit. Yucky gravy and eggs just okay. Even the coffee was nothing special. I had to have someone get the waitress to get my bill. I will never go back.

Something's gone wrong. This used to be a usual stop for us but the past few times have been lackluster. We ended up having to walk out after waiting for 25 minutes for a waitperson to take our order.

The manager/host vanished--never checked back on us. On the way out we mentioned to the waitress that was handling the tables around us and she said sorry, but that's not my section and walked away.

I've been going in here regularly for about 10 years and it's just not what it used to be.

Favorite local diner. You'd never think Davidson's is anything to write home about, but it is a great local diner! Their fish and chicken dishes are yummy, burritos are tasty, and the the breakfast burrito is my favorite meal! Their homemade pies are delicious too! They are often busy, but we've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes.

complaint apparently irrelevant. The 'jumbo' clams were tasteless and the portion was unbelievably small for the price tag of $9.95; the clam chowder had a lot of clams, but was cool temperature. The junior master burger was so-so; the fries were limp. The 25 cents apple pie was good.

Complaint to the manager re. the clams being tasteless just warranted an 'I'm sorry, but thank you for telling me'--this response certainly doesn't engender a warm fuzzy feeling and a thought of giving this establishment a second try.

Awesome homemade american food. What can I say, this place is a gem in disguise. I look forward to visiting here many many times. Everyone is nice and helpful. The food is great, and the dining room is often full!

Great service, excellent choices, and flexible options.. I usually make substitutions, which normally cost nothing more. The servers do not flinch when I ask for substitutions. It is a very friendly place. I eat here often.

The best homestyle cooking around from Mexican to American food! It's great. We love Davidsons, very kid friendly, great prices,great food. You won't find anything from a can in here.

Impressed with first time visit. After living in Tigard for 5 years we finally made it to Davidson's for dinner. I was impressed as soon as I walked in. Although it was very busy and hot the staff and the owner were calm and friendly as can be. I watched the owner train a couple of teens. We found out later that Davidson's prides itself in hiring high school students to give them a first job experience. Commendable. The food was great - just like home cooked. The prices were affordable.
