Absolutely inexcusable. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. They delayed and delayed, gave excuse after excuse for not completing a pendant that any other jeweler in the neighborhood could have completed quickly and easily. I wound up having to settle for a different pendant setting (which they chose) because they took over a month to get the setting I ordered after they told me it would take less than a week. Once they ran out of excuses they started blaming me for their inability to complete the project. I paid in full up front, and from that point they didn't give a darn about me, or the product I paid them for. I found them to be unprofessional, unethical, and sloppy. Save yourself the stress and nonsense, spend your money someplace more reliable.

Sherrie's Jewelry Box has great service and prices. They are a family owned and operated jeweler in downtown Tigard. They do a great job on repairs and have a nice selection. BTW, Jon knows his stuff in terms of watches.

Unethical. I felt very taken advantage of. I went here based on a recommendation from a friend, and therefore trusted them. I should have done my research, admittedly. I sold several gold peices for WAY below the value. Again, I trusted them at their word and should not have. I also had them size a peice, and like the previous reviewer stated, they thinned out the shank *a lot*. They area very unethical jeweler.

Devastated. I took a cherished piece of jewelry to Sherrie to do some work on. I specifically asked that the gold not be cut, and they assured me that it was possible to fix the piece without cutting it.

I returned a week later to find that they had cut the gold, sloppily and unevenly soldered it back together, and thinned out the shank.

When I tried to communicated my concerns, I received a quite defensive remark and no offer to work on the piece as I had asked in the beginning.

I will not be returning to this store ever again, nor will I be recommending that anyone shop there as well.

Exceptional Customer Service. I was a vendor for an event Sherrie did in October. Sherrie and her team are just amazing, and really put the customer first. They really go the distance to make sure their customer is satified and has a wonderful experience! I would not hesitate to buy my next piece of jewelry from her.

Good for recycling. I took in my old gold to sell for money, & instead of making a quick dime by turning around to sell it to the next guy for more money, Sherrie & Jon informed me of all my options, which included making a new custom piece out of the gold I already owned. Even after Sherrie completed my new piece I almost had enough gold scrap to pay for my splurge. Thank You sherrie's jewelry box

Best Darn Jewelry Store. I'm writing this review in response to a very negative, and one might say "slanderish", review of Sherrie's Jewelry Box. HOGWASH! I have been a customer of Sherries for at least 8 years now. I've had some issues with other jewelry stores (which I won't mention), but have always had great service with Sherrie's. She has made a few custom rings for me and they were "breathtaking" When I had them appraised they came out above what I had expected. I can't say enough about SJB and I especially like the "family" atmosphere.
