A WONDERFUL CAMERA STORE AND THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I am a bird watcher and recently killed my old camera when I dropped it in a swamp. The knowledgeable and expert sales staff at the Shutterbug in Washington Square took the time to identify my particular needs and helped me find the perfect replacement camera. Special thanks to Alesha, Courtney and Shawn. They are friendly and courteous and patiently answer all of my questions whenever I come into the store or call on the phone. I give this place my highest recommendations and plan to buy all of my camera equipment here from now on.

Awsome local camera shop. I don't live in the Tigard area so I was pleasantly surprised to find The Shutterbug in the mall. I was in the market for a Digital SLR so I decided to go in. I had lots of questions since I was transitioning from film to digital. I was surprised when I read the previous reviews because I had the opposite experience. I got excellent service! They happily answered all of my questions and pointed me in the direction of a camera that would fit all my needs. I am very happy with the camera that I purchased :) They also informed me that I get to go to a beginner digital photography class for free with my camera purchase which I will be attending later this month. I would highly recommend this store!

very disappointed with the service.. i ended up returning a lens to shutterbug a few days after i purchased it--partially because i found it much cheaper at another locally owned store and partly because the customer service was lacking. when i returned the lens, the sales associate spoke rudely and sarcastically to me. i will not be going back.

Rude and arrogant Camera Geeks. Called to ask a question about a Nikon lenses. Received a rude and condescending reply when I didn't quite understand his answer. Quote... me: "I guess I am confused." ...Jake: Yes you are. "Didn't we go over that once before"

Do not shop at this store, they are arrogant Camera Geeks.

Shuttered bug. dont ever buy anything on this store especially lens! i'll tell you why...i went to buy canon 24-70 lens, told me they have 5 of them in stock. I checked out 1 and found specks of dust on the glass when I opened the lens cap.

this arrogant skinhead sales guy quickly raised his voice and said i was merely freaking out...gosh, i could see the dust so i insisted to have another stock to check out, the other guy picked up the phone and start calling the other store, but i was just told earlier there are 5 in stock! and then saw the arrogant guy poking and scraping the lens glass with rubber. did he ever know how to take care of lens??? i could imagine how they handle their products!!!

at least finally this guy admitted there was indeed some dust in the lens, but i was already disgusted! i will never ever return to this store...ruined my day badly.
