Poor Damage Control

I had excellent customer service by the seamstress and the staff up until something went wrong. The day before I left for my wedding I picked up my dress, brought it home and noticed some major flaws. During the pressing process there was a 1 inch by 2 inch water stain and some damage done to the fabric in another spot. Also the stitching done along the waist in front by the seamstress was all starting to have run in the fabric!! No doubt that was because of the delicate satin fabric, however when you pay over $1000 for something special you expect them to know what they are doing. I immediately called and e-mailed pictures but had to use the dress "as is" because I was leaving. The woman on the phone could not help and told me that Teresa would call me back. After the wedding I called Teresa and barely got anywhere (she insisted I should have brought it in before the wedding- which was impossible because I was leaving), I was offered $50 towards a preservation (which I was not doing) and after much debate, she sent me a check for $25 and an apology card! This didn't even cover the $50 cost of the dress to be pressed in the first place- where much of the damages came from to begin with. I am very disapponted that after a very positive initial experience that Rosewood Bridal would handle damages that they caused so poorly. A $25 check is a joke! That is no way to provide quality customer if you are going to stand behind the work that you do. I am very disappointed at how unprofessionally they handled the situation and how unfair this situation turned out for me- after spending so much money at their store I was stuck with the damaged dress and a full bill (minus $25).

After searching for the perfect dress all over Portland with no results, a friend of mine suggested Rosewood Bridal. For days I had been putting up with rude sales people, unhelpful staff and cold uninviting shops. All of that changed when I stepped into Rosewood. All my uneasy feelings were gone! I was greeted with a friendly and upbeat, "hi how are you?" and was shown around the store personally. They also let me pick out what dresses to try on instead of picking them for me. They made me feel like the most important bride ever! Their dresses are so beautiful and Rosewood has great prices. I would recommend this store to everyone who wants a stress-free and personal experience. They also store your dress for free until the wedding!!

BEST BRIDAL STORE EVER

I went to Rosewood Bridal for my gown and found the experience of shopping at the bridal shop to be one of the best experiences in the whole planning process! I feel like I actually have become friends with the staff. I had no idea what I wanted but they were patient and helped me find the perfect dress! They also special ordered bridesmaid dresses for me and worked with me when I had a bridesmaid dropout and needed a dress altered to fit a smaller girl. They also put up with my crazy family!!! I have since recommended three other brides to go to Rosewood, including family and friends! I do it kind of selfishly just so I have an excuse to go back and visit... not to mention I want all my family and friends to be as happy as as was!
