What do you expect for a $2.99 lunch?. Wow, I don't know what to say. From the eerie Bingo Hall setup to the one-sided, laminated menu, this is a disturbing place to dine. We should have bailed when we were second guessing our decision as we walked in, but we trooped forward. Things you should know: It's weird, you can select one item from 2 lists for $2.99, or you can decide that you want a 3rd item, but only between the sweet and sour chicken and the sweet and sour pork, and they'll make up a price for that extra item (it's like playing a game with a 6 year old who keeps changing the rules as the game progresses); you will be served a form of egg flour soup that seemed to be chicken broth and turkey juice/oil runoff with canned sliced mushrooms, unbouyant corn (may be slightly discolored), and egg like substance (needless to say it wasn't very pleasant); the booths were probably meant for 2, not more, as we were wedged in like sardines in a can (and the two of us that sat by each other are 190 or less); the beef may or may not be cooked all the way, and might be a little slimy; you are 66% more likely to NOT get a fortune with your fortune cookie.

The host/server/busboy/cashier (all one person) was friendly enough, we didn't wait long, and ordering was simple enough (unless you wanted extras).

Yuk. Never wonder why food is so cheap, cuz you'll end up getting exactly what you're afraid you'll get.

We decided it would be in our best interest to not go back (actually, we stopped by the taqueria across the parking lot to distance our taste buds from what we just subjected our stomachs to, and though good, we had a hard time translating anything there, so we decided to boycott the whole mall just to be safe).  View Less

UGH. I was disappointed in this resturant. It's within walking distance of my house, but I won't be back. The decore was disappointing and bring a hazmat suit if you intend to use the men's room. its pretty crummy.

The food was edible but not up to my standards for a chinese resturant. The sweet and sour pork had no vegetables in it, nor any pineapple, which is the first time I have ever seen that.

Prices were reasonablre, portion size was ample, and the staff was very friendly.  View Less

Good Take-Out. I grew up in Tigard, and my family used to get take-out from this place all the time. I highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken and the special fried rice.  View Less View More

In the business for over 20 years!. I work at the Silver Palace. I have always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and returning customers. The restaurant is family owned creating a welcoming feeling, as if you are eating dinner at home. I would definately say it is a great family restaurant as well as a fun kareoke bar. But the main attraction would have to be the food. Not only are the prices very decent, but the portions are also large. Customers always need To-Go boxes! Not to mention the possibility of ordering To-Go.  View Less View More

The Best Oregon Has To Offer. The Silver Palace has some of the best food I have ever tasted. It is fresh, delicious, and inexpensive. I highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken and the Fried Shrimp. The service is always incredibly friendly and the cooks are even nicer. The bar is a happening, entertaining place to be. It is the Oregonian version of Cheers. Take your family and friends for any occasion. It is also a great place to take a date.  View Less View More
