I don't know why people have to be so mean. No store is perfect and if you don't like it, you just don't go back. But I had a great experience at Charlotte's from the moment I made my appointment - to being greeted as I walked in - to trying on lots of dresses in my own private room - to coming back a second time to finally purchase my dress. Everyone was more than helpful and the prices were very reasonable. I wanted some special changes made to my dress and the consultant took her time and made it just so. Yes, the building may be old, but the rooms have been upgraded and are very nice and comfortable with plenty of room. The dresses I tried on were all up-to-the-minute fashion...having seen many of them in bridal magazines. I will recommend Charlotte's to all my friends. Can hardly wait for my bridesmaids to get their dresses there.

The last poster said it best, "Reluctanty Helpful". When I arrived for my appointment, I was rudely barked at to remove my shoes "or else"-, and while we were obeying her commands the "consultant" went on with her conversation with the others about how drunk she got the night before. Uh, yeah...I"m here to buy a wedding dress, not to hear your *so cool* party stories. The dresses- def shop here if you want to look like the topper of a 1992 wedding cake. Almost everything they have has a corset back, which in my opinion is very cheap looking. To each their own, but I think this place could really use a visit from the Fashion Police.
