Horrible Service. I love McMenamins. There is one three blocks from my house and I go there all the time. It is always a positive experience. So, I decided to try this location this past Friday night thinking that it would be the typically great McMenamins food/drink/service. Boy, was I wrong! My date and I were told to be seated anywhere and then sat. And sat. And sat. And sat. We sat there for 20 minutes before deciding that we were being ignored and would leave.

And before you say it was a Friday night and maybe they were busy - THEY WEREN'T! The dining room wasn't even half full. But the servers were walking around bussing tables before all diners had drink orders in. Hello waiting-tables-101! If you want McMenamins, try ANY OTHER LOCATION, but not this one.

Service? What service?. I go here a lot because I live close by, but sometimes I wonder why I bother. It's as if the service is intentionally poor. There seems to be a higher priority in running fresh pitchers to the off-duty empoyees who are always drinking and smoking outside in a group than to serving the actual customers. I admire what the McMenamin brothers have done in Portland, but they really need to institute some sort of server training program...most of the servers here aren't even trying. If you do come here, stop by my booth and say "hi"....I'll be the guy with the empty glass.

This mcmenamins is pretty good but not the best.. This mcmenamins has the normal menu and the service is good but it is not one of the great mcmenamins resturants. They have pool, darts and a large aquarium to stare at.
