Good thai food. The food tastes good but you have to be patient about service. Whenever my husband and I have gone there, our dishes are served 5-10 min apart. I’ve actually finished my dinner one time before they brought out my husband’s food. I would recommend take out.

Portland's Best Thai!!!. Pepper Tree Thai Cuisine is the best you can find in Southwest Portland. They have a phenonmenal lunch menu offered Monday-Friday from open-3pm for just $5.95!!! The rest of the menu doesn't cost much more than that. The pad thai is by far the best I've ever had. The curries are all exceptional. The Pad Kee Mao as well as all of the soups will blow-you-away. As if the food wasnt enough you can count on prompt, friendly service every time you dine. Just make sure you dont forget a side of their peanut sauce, mmmmm!!!!

Excellent service. Authentic Thai greetings with broad smile upon entering.. Great food. I even liked the eggplant dish (which, I usually dislike). I couldn't get enough of the Pad Thai. The Fresh Rolls were excellent. No salad or lettuce in it. Lots of Thai basil and rice threads. I've been there twice with different people and everyone loved the food.

Service and cleanliness were excellent.

I will go out of my way to eat here.

Wonderful and Inexpensive!. While this restaurant looks really unimpressive from the outside (it is just a small slot in an ugly strip mall) it is well worth a try! I don't think i would have ever picked this place out if i didn't live right near by, but I am super glad i did. While most of their spicing is fairly friendly to the Western palate, they are more than happy to make things spicy for those who request it! Thier Green Sea is amazing. Their waitstaff is really great, especially one cute little lady who always wears a lot of makeup but is exceptionally kind, friendly, and always remembers me. The lunch specials are a really great value for the price and come with soup or salad.

Amazing.. This place is amazing. Do yourself a favor and order the yellow curry. You won't regret it. Gread pad thai, great appetizers. Best Thai in the pizzle town.

Best inexpensive Thai in Portland and Beaverton. We LOVE Thai food! My wife and I have tried numerous Thai places around Portland and Beaverton and this little hidden gem is by far our favorite, we've been frequenting the Pepper Tree for over 8 years and are usually disappointed when we have Thai elsewhere. Run by a very friendly little Thai lady named Tsim, this place dishes up scrumptious authentic Thai plates and soups (the Tom Kah in the firey bowl is second to none). The prices are very reasonable. Check it out, you won't be diappointed.

Wonderful place!. Just discovered this place, and I'm so glad! Great Thai food and a really delightful Thai waitstaff. The lunch specials are very inexpensive, include a salad, and are expertly cooked to order very quickly and brought to your table steaming. I have tried many dishes, and loved them all. The wide rice noodles with chili, basil, chicken, and cabbage is a favorite, as is the beef with bamboo shoots in special chili sauce. The sauce is a rich, slightly sweet/hot sauce, exceedingly fragrant and delicious! Hightly recommended place.

Hidden Gem. Delicious food, generous portions, friendly, attentive wait staff. Great experience every time.

Simple decor, but if you've had the food, it's easy to look past the lack of color and sparse ornamentation. I wouldn't call the decor "romantic"...but it's a quaint and comfortable place to have a good time.

This is one of my favorite Thai restuarants in Portland, and I've sampled quite a few...

THAI HOT!. Great curries in this little strip-mall restaurant. Don't skip over the house specialties, either. If you're a real heat seeker, you might want to ask for 5-7 stars - the cooks have the same reluctance as any Thai restaurant to really make you sweat - a bit timid with the heat at first...when they get to know you...watch out! Service here is super friendly - especially if Golf is your server! Great nickname! Flavors are clear and bright here, delivered with a smile and a tray of chile concoctions. Danger here is ordering too much - portions are quite large - you'll need afew people to help eat if you want to sample several dishes.
