Editorial Review for Dublin Pub – by Naomi Gollogly
In Short
The faithful acome from miles around to indulge in brews, wine and a well-known pickup scene at this expansive pub. On weekends, a college crowd and beer-drinking locals crowd the bar for lively conversation. Live music every night--including folk, classic rock and Irish--adds to the bar's magnetism. Some patrons dine on salads, clam chowder and Irish stew while others play foosball, pool and darts or shake their booties on the dance floor.

A quick change of plans led me to Dublin Pub. After having to park in the Safeway parking lot (no biggie) I walked in the a comfy, neighborhood pub. I tried their Butte Creek Organic Ale on tap and it was great, but for my second I wanted to try something new. I went up to the bar tender and asked his advice. He brought over a couple of different shots of beer similar to the first and described to me what I was tasting. Being a girl who enjoys beer but isn't particular this was great! My friends and I spent the time catching up but I could definitely see us playing pool and throwing some darts. I would love to experience some live music there too. I will be visiting again!

I LOVE going to the Dublin Pub!!!! They have one of the best beer selections in the State. Their Happy Hour is the best I've ever seen. $2.75 micros every day from open(3PM) to 7. Free pool all day Sunday and Monday, every other day until 7PM. Did I mention their HUGE beer selection! Winter seasonal are coming in. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm... Friendly and cool bartenders and Tasty! hamburgers and Reubens! Don't judge it by the outside appearance, go inside and be amazed! Try to spot all of the hidden leprochans in the place and get a free pint!
Pros: Enormous selection, easy access from all over Portland, great Happy Hour
Cons: Opens later in day
