Sloan's takes you back!. If you are looking for some good diner food (which is hard to find these days in portland) then do yourself a favor and go to sloan's. this mom and pop place has the food and the 1970s decore to make you feel like you've taken a trip back in time. I have tried ALL of the sandwiches and they are amazing! best Ruben i've had in years!

Sloans Tavern. A great place for lunch or dinner. The food is very good, 2 juke boxes, new and old, pool table, big screen. Everything you need. Great onion rings.
