We had a horrible experience; John treated us poorly and we were so over charged. The car still does not run.

My car broke down shortly after moving to Oregon. A friend recommended Dufresne's. Since I was new to the area, I took their advice. BIG MISTAKE! The car ran perfectly before breaking down, then suddenly wouldn't turn over. Dufresne's told me that my timing chain had broken, and had damaged other parts in the aftermath. As they 'worked' on the car, they called each day to let me know they'd found some other problem. When they were finished, I picked up the car and paid them $1900! On the way home, the car stalled at each intersection. I had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. When I called Dufresne's, they said "it wasn't running at all when we got it." I took it back to let them look at it, but they couldn't find anything wrong. When it failed DEQ, I was given a list of local shops that could work on it. When the new mechanic got it up on the lift, he said "Who worked on this car? They put the exhaust system together all wrong!" After he reassembled it, the car ran perfectly, again! Dufresne's also has an espresso stand. I hope they're much better barista's than mechanics!!

Cons: Everything else!
