In Short – Skyline's nostalgic '50s-style decor of Formica counters and Naugahyde booths and bustling, no-nonsense service are true to its "burger and shake" drive-in heritage. Families and young couples come for its signature dish, the Skyline, a lean burger towering with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The fries and onion rings are crisp, but the real draw is the malted milkshakes in hot fudge and mint chip. More fountain specials include the sexy butterscotch sundae.

Wanted to like it - left food uneaten on table

My family has driven by Skyline many times and it looked good from the outside. One day we stopped and tried it. We wanted it to be good, but it just wasn't. Slow service that brought out only part of our order. My wife couldn't finish her burger, it tasted that bad. We were seated next to the kitchen and heard the cook complaining about folks sending back orders not once but twice. We will not be back and we will tell our friends to pass it by.
- Pros: Classic Diner Atmosphere
- Cons: Slow, incomplete service - inedible food

i really like skyline and will go there again and again. i took some out of town relatives there and they really enjoyed it. the burgers are good and the shakes are even better!!!

- Cons: sometimes there are long waits for a table

Not worth the drive...

I assume the history of this place is why people keep coming. It did absolutely nothing for me. I came here after going to the zoo. Figured I'd see what all the hype was about.
It wasn't bad by any means. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here...
I feel the same about the Helvetia Burger... Nothing special!
Carl's six dollar burger is the best deal for the buck. They are located on most street corners...
