Dr@gs and Syringes in Restroom.
Posted by Jonathan Hunt, President of ATU757
On December 12, I took my family out to Shari's on 185th Avenue. When I went to the restroom I noticed that there was no seat on the toilet in one of the cubicles, so I went into the other one.
"There was a little tray on top of the toilet that had obviously been used for preparing dr@gs, and in the bowl was a needle and a big pile of toilet paper soaked with bl%od.
"My first reaction was to get out of there as quickly as I could ? you never know what I might pick-up." I also want to add that the toilet was in a bad state too, with water all over the floor."
The incident happened around 5.30pm on Friday, just before a busy weekend.
"The staff apologised and said they would clean-up, but I'm not going back."
I'm not going to come back here anymore, I told myself.
I recent read that the Oregonian reported how a 16-year-old boy found a man and a woman injecting each other with dr@gs in the toilets of Elmers restaurant, leaving a bloody mess in the sink and on the floor.
After that incident, I heard that even McDonald's, the burger chain said it was on a campaign to keeping its facilities clean.
"People seem to be going in and using toilets as places where they can get their dr%gs fix."We are extremely sorry that our toilet facilities fell short of our usual high standards, and we put it right as soon as we were aware of the problem, the manager at Shari's said.
Well this is an experience that I will never forget. For this I'm giving this restaurant a one star.
