Wonderful, thorough job done consistently each time.. Ashton does a phenomenal job in hair styling. Given that I have very long hair which I would like layered, I have been disappointed for many years with the job that hair stylists have done. I have never ever had my hair layered well until I had my hair cut by Ashton. He will make sure that your hair is exactly the way you want it, I have never gone to any other hair stylist ever since!

Wonderful experience with Ashton. This was my first time going to Tres Bon. I had the pleasure of meeting Ashton and he did a wonderful job on my hair cut. He was nothing but professional and respectful. I would recommend him to everyone who would expect the best. He is very sweet and listens very carefully to what you want exactly. When I called to make an appointment, the front desk receptionist however was not very pleasant. Even when I came to the salon the receptionist had no smile, very cold and didn't seem like she wanted to be there.

I thought I would never find someone. I moved to Portland in November and before that it took me 8 months of crappy haircuts and messed up color to find someone and when I moved i figured it would take me another year to find someone new. After 2 visits to salons that friends recommended I met Brooke at the Olive Garden, she gave me a card, I called her the next day and have been in love ever since! I have healthy hair and I always leave loving my hair even more! Thanks Brooke

Amanda is My Favorite Stylist. Tres Bon is a very good salon and I've gone there for years. The staff is very friendly. However, Amanda, my regular stylist, has left, and so I've followed her to Bouffant Salon on NW 9th Ave. I was sorry to leave Tres Bon, but Amanda is the best.

finally. finally i have found someone to do my hair....i moved to portland about a year ago and couldnt find anyone who would listen to what i wanted. they just did what they thought would look best on me. Kristina looked young and a little funkier then my taste but she did exactly what i had asked her to do!!! i was very happy with the cut and color and have finally found someone who i trust to do my hair. she was wonderful and has continued to keep me happy.

great experiance. i recently had a cut and highlight at tres bon and i found it to be a very pleasant experiance. i had a great stlyist and my cut and color are wonderful. i was treated like a princess. i highly recommend this salon for anyone. they are very professional and know what they are doing. sometimes its hard to get in but my stlyist has me booking ahead now. it works perfect for me. and there is free parking!

Beware new stylists!. I'd been going for several years, and after awhile all of the stylists I'd been going to started to become way overbooked on the weekends. I finally ended up with a new stylists, who completely messed up my bangs (which has taken two months to grow out!). The front desk staff is also rude and hurried. I think I was on the phone for fifteen minutes before I actually booked my appointment. I'd never go back there again!!!

Wouldn't go anywhere else!. I've been going to Tres Bon since it first opened and know the priority that is given to proper and continuous skills training for all of its staff. Stylists must go through a comprehensive apprenticeship program before becoming a stylist. Skills are exceptional for both cuts and color (to name just two of the many services available). Atmosphere is chic, but comfortable and everyone is very friendly and eager to make your experience positive. Ample, off-street parking is a plus as is the beverages made available to its guests. Some stylists work evenings and weekends, so coverage is not an issue either.

Makeover. I am so HAPPY I was referred to Leanne! I took my daughter in first for a haircut to try it out! She was amazing! My daughter and I have never loved our hair so much! Or my husband for that matter!

She took the time to listen to what I wanted, made lots of suggestions and let me decide what I liked best. My color is fantastic, my hair is soft and I actually have an easy style! She took the time to teach me how to style it myself... I can never do it as well as the stylists, but now Im pretty close! I was impressed with the price, I WAS paying a lot more and not getting nearly the great service before Leanne!

The salon is a very clean, professional and easy going atmosphere. I felt totally pampered and relaxed.

User review by pirates. Overall my experience was average. The salon it self is very lovely but my stylist was overbooked and I felt as if I was going from chair to chair. When I'm having my hair done and paying alot of money for the service I expect to have the stylist give me her undivided attention. Also the front desk needs to work on being polite.
