Never Again -- Incompetent, Rude. Early August, phone-ordered days in advance a wrist corsage for a dear lady's 90th birthday party. Also, inquired about centerpiece floral arrangements for the tables at the venue with me providing the short crystal vases and glass floral marbles. Assured there would be no problem working together with them on that. Arrived at time agreed upon and no corsage! Hadn't even started. Was told by a surly Lynn, "We had a funeral we had to do." She said "But I can put one together in 5 minutes." Ten minutes later, it was done and slapped down on the counter in a carton. As for the floral arrangements, she said I had spoken to a part-time worker who shouldn't have promised anything. Yikes! I went across the street to Safeway floral dept and got the center pieces done with a very savvy customer-service oriented associate. That florist said they get many disgruntled customers from Portland Florist. Portland Florist missed out on my additional $75 flower order and repeat business, but apparently, funerals are more important. No way to run a business....

Portland Florist Shop Needs to Confirm Information. March 23, 2011 I called Portland Florist Shop from Prescott, AZ to order a bouquet to send to a family member in Portland, OR. I spoke with Sara. She took the required info, but strangely, as I look back, did not confirm what she had written down. Needless-to-say, she had the address wrong, as well as our names (the sendors) names incorrect.

Thankfully, the delivery person was really on their toes and recognized the address as incorrect, made the correction and delivered the bouquet in a timely manner. However, our son and DIL had to use their imaginations to figure out who the flowers came from.

My recommendation would be that if you use this florist, be sure to confirm all info before completing your order.

Very happy Mom. I called and asked them to deliver flowers to my Mom in the hospital. I live in Arizona and was not able to be in Portland while my Mom was in the hospital I left it up to them to pick out the bouquet. My Mom said they were the nicest flowers she has received in a very long time. I will always use them when needed. Thanks for the smiles you gave my Mom during her difficult time.

Need Flowers or Gifts? I found Excellent Products and Staff. Today I feel compelled to let EVERYONE know about the great service and excellent quality I always find at Menlo Park Flowers. Best plant quality for the price + next day delivery!. We need some large plants for a new office. Lynne (from Menlo Park Florist) told me about some 5-6ft tall paIms currently available. I ordered (without seeing it) an Areca Palm late on Friday. As requested, it was delivered Monday morning and was just gorgeous! It was 7.5ft tall with vibrant shiny leaves. One of the most gorgeous and healthy plant I have seen in a very long time. I have shopped all over town for such large tree/plant and Lynne has by far the best quality for the price.
