Pazooke cookies the greatest!. This is my first posting and I can tell you... GET their chocolate chip pazooke (sp?) cookies w/ice cream. YUM! I usually get the half sandwich/baked potatoe/salad=excellent meal & good price. Waiters always nice, friendly and have never messed up any order I've given to them. Our office group meets here quite often, we can be loud and no one minds. We had our 2006 Christmas party here also and they took great care of everyones needs promptly. I recommend the pizza, Chicken Ceasar salad, and noodle dishes but there are MANY meals to choose from that everyone I've gone with (which has been over the past 7 yrs) has always been satisfied. I just wish there was a BJ's in SE Portland!

Tried again and again. But I have been to this place for the last time. I don't think I have ever had an order not messed up in some way, the wait-staff tries, but it seems they are limited by their management and by the badly prepared food coming out of the kitchen. I have had missing orders, cold food, wrong orders, delayed orders. They have comped me a couple of times to make up for the mess-ups, and I have tried to give them more chances, but it seems that they just don't care anymore.

Get the sauce!. The restaurant started out as Engine House Pizza (early '80s), then became Pietro's (early 90's), now is BJ's. Their pizza is the best around -as long as you make sure to have them put TOMATO SAUCE on it. It doesn't come with it unless you ask for it. Don't forget! Otherwise you will just get stewed tomatoes, which is bland! They also have good in-house micro brews too.
