Beauty For The Beast-Pet

Worst Experience EVER!!!!!. So I made an appointment for my Dog Oscar @ Beauty for the Beast expecting to get him trimmed up for the winter- I have a Havaton male dog. My husband and I came in expecting to be greeted, we were ignored. A employee asked us the name of out dog, grabbed him and instantly put him in a crate. I asked the groomer to keep him long just trim him up. I said keep his beard and stache and just trim his eyes to where he can see. She asked me " Like a Benji?" I said yes. FOUR hours later we picked him up and she asked us to go pay in the store front. I asked to see him first and to my horror his body was completly uneven his neck was shaved and his face was basically shaved. He looks like a poodle spaniel!!!! I told them I was very un happy and that he looks NOTHING like that was dicused. They said that a Benji is a terrier. I showed them pictures of multiple Benji dogs and then they ( the owner) told me they make their own version on a Benji, and 'next time' just tell them to cut him like a classic Benji. I will NEVER be back and recommend nobody goes there either!!!!!…

Great place for do it yourself doggy wash. I have taken my dog here several times and he is not easy to give a bath (husky/wolf hybrid), but the set up is very nice with the bath tubs, doggy drier and handy tool kit that comes with it. Staff have been very helpful and last time gave me samples of dog food and treats for me to try. I have a very finicky dog. This is the only place I take my dog for a good wash!…

Bad Attitude.. I have taken my dog there twice. They are unfriendly at the drop-off and pick up, acting as if I am wasting their time. Last week, prior to Thanksgiving, I tried to get an appointment (I figured it would be too busy and booked up, but wanted to try. I was not pushy or demanding), the woman on the phone acted as if I was the stupidest person in town for even thinking that I might be able to get my dog in anywhere, let alone there. It happened again today (12/4). When she (same woman) told me that the next available appt was next Thursday, I said I would call back if I couldn't find anything sooner. Her reply, again, was as if I was stupid and naive. Her response (and I quote)... "Good luck, it's the Holidays." click. She hung up. Why support that? There are other places out there with better attitudes that do a much better job with my dog for the same price. Don't go there until they improve their personal skills.…
