Worst tailoring I have ever experienced!. I recently lost 30 lbs. and brought my custom made suits to Well Suited with the idea of selling them on consignment. The tailor there said that he could take in my suits to make them fit me. Not only do they not fit me, the quality of the workmanship is so poor that I would be embarrased to wear them. They are now ruined. He hemmed the sleeves by simply turning them under and stitching them so that now the fabric is 4 layers thick and you can even see some of the stitching through the sleeve. Not only that but the lining is so long that it hangs down below the sleeve. One of the pair of pants wasn't even sewn up in the crotch when picked up. Just a gaping hole there. No explanation or apology. The suits were not pressed either. How did he get voted "best tailor"? This is beyond me!!! View Less …
Great for Women Seeking Men's Suits.
I'm a woman who feels more comfortable in men's formalwear, but the process of buying men's formalwear has always been very uncomfortable.
The sales guys at department stores just direct me to the women's section and won't help me find things that fit.
Problem solved! The guys at Well Suited are the most helpful, professional, friendly salespeople I have ever met. They made shopping for my suit downright fun, and had lots of great tips, even suggesting tie-shirt combos to go with my new suit. (I've certainly never gotten that level of acceptance at the mall!) They had suits in my size, too -- I'm small for menswear. They clearly have experience fitting men's suits for women, too, and tailored mine perfectly to fit my body without producing the curvier look of most women's suits.
Bottom line: If you're a female bodied person looking for a men's suit, this is THE place to go.

This place is awesome!. I always find great deals here, and they're the same designers I would probably have bought new. Correction, I probably wouldn't have bought them new because of the price. This store actually puts those things in my price range. If only for that I like to come check out the shop a few times a season because you never know what someones going to bring in. View Less …

Amazing!!!. As a woman it is very hard to find a nice men's suit. I realize not a lot of women are looking for such formal wear, but I was looking all over Portland to no avail. Everywhere I went I was either completely ignored or sneered at upon walking in. When I walked into Well Suited I was immediately helped and treated with respect.
