Increased prices and reduced quality...bummer!. I used to love grabbing take-out from the Orient. It's your typical campy, dirty Chinese restaurant - complete with gambling in the bar. I always ordered this wonderful dish called Triple Crown which consisted of a mixture of meat and shrimp, coupled with crunchy, vibrantly colored veggies. This was always so yummy that it was worth the calories as well as the post MSG yawns! I visited today and was so bummed - they raised the price by a dollar which is to be expected in these tough economic times but the quality was also diminished. I asked for fried rice which they mixed with white rice (probably because it was the end of the lunch rush) and the nice veggies were gone! The portion was also smaller. I say if you're going to raise the price, make sure the customer can still feel good about what they're paying for. Next time I'll be off to Panda Express down the street.

Great take-out. If you want gourmet keep driving but if you want it good and you want it quick and especially if you want it to go, this is a great neighborhood joint. Their shrimp fried rice passes the test and they have the food ready in less time than it takes me to walk there.

Ignored Patrons. My co-worker and I went there to order food to go for ourselves and some co-workers. My co-worker asked the woman behind the counter 5 times about the special of the day and each time the woman ignored her and walked away. I wouldn't go there if they were the last Chinese restaurant on the planet! Hands down the worst service anywhere in Portland!!

Good Value Lunch!. The restaurant and entry way may look a little run down from the outside, but the food is good!

I had the Garlic Chicken and Shrimp for lunch. It was good and at $4.95 a very good value. The lunch also includes rice, spring roll, and soup.
