I would never go back. I have been to several Palmer Wirfs and Associates shows before. If someone asked me I would have suggested going in the past, now I would just tell them about what happened to me at one of their shows.

I was there with my wife, an avid amateur photographer, she was photographing various things. We had seen no signs saying "No photography" and a vendor suddenly told us that we should ask permission. The vendor then told security, the first person to respond tried to grab my wife's camera and delete her photographs. After he gave up on following her round and round the same two aisles, I met his supervisor who told me that the show director "Chuck Palmer" was on his way down to answer my question. "Where does it say that photography is forbidden?"

Chuck Palmer told me that photography was forbidden without his permission. I responded that that was now understood, but how was i expected to know that before he told me. He then asked for my ticket, my wife had the remaining portion of my ticket with her (explicitly marked for reentry on Sunday, on Saturday use the hand stamp), but I had the reentry hand stamp on the back of my hand so I showed him that. He insisted that he wanted to see my ticket. I pointed out that the ticket was mostly already in their possession and he asked if I had ID.

At that point I told him No, when he looked incredulous I corrected myself. Yes, I had ID, but I wasn't going to show it to him. He responded that he would have me arrested for trespassing to which I stated "No, Nobody has told me that I am trespassing and asked me to leave yet." He practically shouted at me to "leave now!"

I left. This is the first time in my life that I have ever been escorted from the premises, anywhere.

Great show in our own backyard!. A paradise for those who like vintage. Everything from estate jewelry to great inexpensive home decor. Three buildings full - there's honestly something for everyone. A great way to spend the day.
